Brisbane city is definitely a place to visit during your Australia travels.

Travel around Brisbane is easy with public transport such as trains, buses, ferries and taxis. The AirTrain is a regular service to the Brisbane Airport and some Brisbane hotels offer transfer services.

There are so many Brisbane attractions to enjoy that you’ll need to stay for at least a couple of weeks to see them!

Brisbane South Bank, also referred to as Southbank Parklands is on the southern bank of the Brisbane River. This hub of cultural activity includes free entertainment, shopping, cinemas, dining and a glorious crystal-clear lagoon.

If you like to combine your travel in Australia with shopping, there are several excellent Brisbane markets, including the weekend South Bank, Riverside and Brisbane Valley Markets in the city, the Saturday Fresh Markets at Rocklea and the Brisbane Farmers Markets.

You will find many superb restaurants in Brisbane, with several of these restaurants along the Brisbane River.
